Easiest Ever Homemade Chicken Stock
- 1 rotisserie whole chickens (store bought) or 1 leftover roast whole chicken
- cooking spray (optional)
- 6 cups water
- Eat rotisserie chicken, but save bones, skin and any leftovers.
- Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
- Place rotisserie chicken leftovers in crockpot and pour water over top.
- You may add more or less water if you need to.
- Water should just cover bird.
- Set crockpot to low and cook for 8-10 (or more if you like) hours.
- Remove bones from stock.
- Place broth in a large tupperwear or plastic bowl.
- Cool slightly, then place in refrigerator to chill.
- Fat will come to top.
- Skim congealed fat off top.
- Stock may gelatinize in refrigerator, but this is fine.
- It will turn into a rich liquid once you heat it.
