Pina Colada Fruit Squares

  1. Drain pineapple, reserving the juice.
  2. Meanwhile, stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min.
  3. until completely dissolved.
  4. Add the reserved pineapple juice and ice cubes; stir until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove any unmelted ice.
  6. Remove 1-1/2 cups of the gelatin; place in medium bowl.
  7. Stir in the pineapple; set aside.
  8. Refrigerate remaining gelatin 15 min.
  9. or until slightly thickened.
  10. Add the whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  11. Pour into 8-inch square pan.
  12. Refrigerate 10 min.
  13. or until set but not firm.
  14. Carefully spoon over creamy layer in pan.
  15. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  16. Cut into 9 squares to serve.
  17. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
