Hearty Stew Recipe

• 3 or possibly 4 tomatoes
• 1 onion, minced
• 3 carrots, sliced
• 1 or possibly 2 celery stalks, minced
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 pound grnd beef
• 1 can English peas
• 1 can whole kernel corn
• 1 can tomatoes, cut up
• 1 sm. can tomato sauce
• 3/4 c. catsup
• 2 tbsp. mustard
• Dash of warm sauce
• 1 or possibly 2 jalapeno peppers
• 1 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1 clove of garlic, minced
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
• 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
• 1 teaspoon thyme
• 1 c. uncooked macaroni

1. Peel tomatoes; cut into small chunks.
2. Place tomatoes, onion, carrots and celery in six qt saucepan; add in about 2 qts water.
3. Add in salt; bring to a boil; reduce heat.
4. Simmer till vegetables are tender.
5. Cook beef in skillet till brown; drain.
6. Add in to tomato mix.
7. Add in peas, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, catsup, mustard, warm sauce, jalapeno peppers, garlic salt, garlic, pepper, chili pwdr and thyme; simmer for 30 min, adding water if needed.
8. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
9. Add in to beef mix.
10. Simmer for 10-15 min longer.
11. Remove jalapeno peppers before serving.
