Fall Baked Beans

  1. Boil squash in salted water until tender.
  2. Heat beans on medium heat.
  3. Add honey, sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Stir.
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cooked squash.
  7. Stir.
  8. Variations; Ketchup, hot sauce, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, clove, allspice, beer, bourbon, thyme, rosemary, oregano, zucchini, yellow squash, roasted garlic, cornbread crust, pork tenderloin, maple syrup
