Bulgar Wheat And Mint Pilaf Recipe
- 1 bn spring onions
- 2 x generous handfuls of mint leaves
- 170 gm bulgar wheat zest and juice of 2 lemons sea salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- Chop the onions finely and one of the handfuls of mint Mix these thoroughly with the bulgar wheat
- Add in the zest and juice from the 2 lemons Pour over boiling water to cover and leave for a few hrs Twenty min before the pilaf is to be served place in an ovenproof dish cover with a lid and put it in the oven at 325F (160C gas 3).
- When the pilaf is ready chop the second handful of mint finely and stir in with salt and pepper to taste.
