Asparagus

  1. Bring 3 inches of lightly salted water to boil in a large shallow pan.
  2. Add the asparagus and bring to a simmer.
  3. Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, just until tender.
  4. Drain and serve hot with melted butter and lemon juice.
