Asparagus
- 4 pounds thin asparagus spears, ends trimmed
- Melted butter
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Bring 3 inches of lightly salted water to boil in a large shallow pan.
- Add the asparagus and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, just until tender.
- Drain and serve hot with melted butter and lemon juice.
