Molasses Apple Crisp Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees G. Grease a 6x10x2 inch pan or possibly baking dish.
  2. Pare and core apples; slice about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Mix together 1/4 c. sugar, nutmeg, salt and 1/4 tsp.
  4. cinnamon.
  5. Alternate apples and sugar mix in prepared baking dish.
  6. Spoon 4 Tbsp.
  7. molasses over top.
  8. Mix together remaining 1/4 c. sugar, 1 Tbsp.
  9. molasses, 1/4 tsp.
  10. cinnamon, butter and flour to a crumb consistency.
  11. Sprinkle proportionately over apples.
  12. Bake uncovered 50 min or possibly till apples are done.
  13. Serve hot.
  14. (Makes 6 servings)
