Braised Chicken Giblets Recipe
- 2 lb Chicken giblets
- 2 lrg Onions sliced
- 1/2 c. Margarine
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Rosemary
- 1/4 tsp Curry pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 2 c. Warm water
- Put flour and spices into paper bag.
- Shake giblets to coat.
- Heat margarine, add in onions, and saute/fry 2-3 min.
- Add in contents of paper bad to pan.
- Stir well, then add in warm water.
- Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 3 1/2 hrs, stirring every half hour.
- Serve with rice or possibly mashed potatoes.
- This is a great dish, but quite rich!
