Cilantro Dip
- 3 cloves Fresh Garlic
- 1/2 whole Lime, Juiced
- 2 whole Jalapenos, Cored And Seeded (wear Gloves)
- 3/4 cups Mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon Dry Ranch Dressing Mix/Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 5 bunches Cilantro (chop Off From Tie Down), Plus Reserve Some For Garnish
- 2 cups Cottage Cheese
- 1/4 cups Sour Cream
- In a blender, place garlic cloves, juice of lime, jalapenos, mayonnaise, ranch powder, salt and 3 bunches of cilantro.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add the rest of the cilantro (save a bit for garnish) and blend again until smooth.
- (At this stage, the mixture of green stuff is a great marinade.)
- Add cottage cheese and sour cream.
- Blend until very smooth.
- Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.
- I love it tossed on shrimp and on salads, I have even heard it being used with eggs.
- The serving size really doesnt matter because it just depends on how much you use and what you use it for.
