Candied Sardines for New Year's

  1. Arrange the small dried sardines on parchment paper, and roast in a microwave for 1.5 minutes at 600 W.
  2. Add the combined seasoning ingredients into a frying pan, and cook until the mixture becomes brown and syrupy.
  3. Add the small dried sardines and coat them with the sauce.
  4. Spread onto the parchment paper and let them cool.
  5. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and you're done!
