Candied Sardines for New Year's
- 50 grams Small dried sardines
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 White sesame seeds
- Arrange the small dried sardines on parchment paper, and roast in a microwave for 1.5 minutes at 600 W.
- Add the combined seasoning ingredients into a frying pan, and cook until the mixture becomes brown and syrupy.
- Add the small dried sardines and coat them with the sauce.
- Spread onto the parchment paper and let them cool.
- Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and you're done!
