Shore Leave Picnic Loaf Recipe
- 1/2 c. Italian dressing
- 1 sm. thinly sliced tomato
- 1 sm. thinly sliced red onion
- 6 fresh spinach leaves (no stems)
- 6 slices turkey
- 6 slices boiled ham
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 peeled, thinly sliced cuke
- 1 loaf round sourdough bread
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut slice from top of bread loaf.
- Remove center leaving 1/2" shell.
- Lightly brush inside of shell and top with dressing.
- Fill shell with remaining ingredients.
- Cover top of bread loaf.
- Wrap in foil.
- Bake 45 min.
- Cold 10 min.
- Cut into wedges.
- Serve warm or possibly cool.
- 6 to 8 servings.
