Quiche Lorraine
- 2 frozen pie crusts
- 12 slices bacon
- 1 bunch green onion
- 16 ounces shredded swiss cheese
- 12 large eggs
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon red pepper
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- Cook and chop bacon.
- Fit pie crust into 9" pie plate.
- Bake pie crust only for 7 minutes at 400 degrees F.
- Sprinkle crust with bacon, green onions and one cup of cheese (1/2 in each pie crust).
- Whisk together eggs, cream, salt, peppers and nutmeg.
- Pour over crust (1/2 in each crust).
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese over both quiches.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until center is set.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before.
- Cut into wedges and serve.
