Ham Balls with Pineapple Sauce
- 1 pound Ground Ham
- 1 pound Ground Pork
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs (or Crushed Crackers)
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 2 whole Eggs, Slightly Beaten
- 15 ounces, weight Can Of Pineapple Tidbits
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons Lite Soy Sauce
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine ground pork, ground ham**, bread crumbs, milk, and eggs in a large bowl.
- Mix well.
- Shape into 1 inch balls, and place in a 9x13 pan.
- Prepare sauce.
- Empty pineapple into a bowl.
- Mix brown sugar and cornstarch.
- Add to pineapple, mix well.
- Add soy sauce.
- Pour over ham balls and bake for 50-60 minutes.
- **If you dont have a meat grinder (to grind your ham), you can use finely diced ham in its place.
- It works just as well.
