Orange Rice & Spice Breakfast
- 1 cup brown rice
- 2 cups water
- milk, to cover rice
- salt
- 12 cup dry milk
- 14 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon allspice
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg (I don't like nutmeg, so I wouldn't use but a dash, but its your choice)
- 14 cup ground nuts
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 12 cup raisins (optional)
- orange slice, to garnish (optional)
- Mix rice water and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stir, cover and reduce to a simmer.
- Simmer 35-40 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Add milk to cover rice.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until heated through.
- Garnish with orange slices, if desired.
