Spicy Mushroom Ratatouille

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over moderate heat.
  2. Add garlic, onion, and chilies.
  3. Cook about 3-5 minutes, or until onion is transparent.
  4. Stir in vegetables; continue cooking for 8-10 minutes or until vegetables have softened.
  5. Add tomato sauce, hot sauce, and basil.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Nice over pasta, rice or couscous.
