Lentil Soup

  1. 1 bag of lentils rinse in cold water, pick out dark lentils that float to the top
  2. Put lentils in a large pot and fill the pot to desired amount of water
  3. Bing to a boil and skim off the foam
  4. turn heat down to simmer, then add all ingredients.
  5. Cover and let simmer for 1 to 2 hours, or until the lentils are soft
