Meatloaf Roast Recipe
- 2 lbs. grnd chuck
- 6 tbsp. bread crumbs or possibly quick oats
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 (16 ounce.) can beef gravy
- Mix all ingredients together; shape into a loaf and place in a roasting pan.
- Place desired amount of potatoes, carrots and onions around the sides of the meatloaf.
- Pour a 16 oz can of beef gravy over all and bake at 375 degrees till the vegetables are tender, about 1 1/2 hrs.
- Instead of the can of gravy.
- Use a can of mushroom soup, a can of water, 1/2 package Lipton soup (onion).
- Mix all together and pour over the roast.
- This makes its own gravy.
