Veggie Sloppy Joes

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add vegetable oil, onions, and serrano pepper.
  3. Saute for 5-7 minutes until soft.
  4. Add veggie protein crumbles, breaking apart the pieces with your fingers before dropping into the skillet.
  5. Stir.
  6. After 3 minutes, add spices (salt, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne) and sauces (red wine vinegar, Worcestershire, and half of the tomato sauce).
  7. Continue stirring.
  8. After the liquids are absorbed (5 minutes or so) add more tomato sauce until it is as sloppy as you like it.
  9. Serve immediately on toasted buns.
  10. Enjoy!
