Midwestern BBQ Chicken
- 2 pounds Chicken Pieces, Bone In
- 1 whole Onion, Sliced
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Salt (table)
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a 4-cup liquid measure, combine all ingredients except onion and chicken.
- Arrange chicken in a single layer on an oven-safe pan that you can cover.
- Place sliced onions on top of chicken and pour sauce over the top of the chicken.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until chicken is cooked through.
