Whole Wheat, Almond Organic Bread
- 12 ounce yeast
- 2 12 cups water
- 2 cups white whole wheat flour
- 1 cup almond meal
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- Mix water and yeast (water at about 105 degrees).
- Add flour, butter, salt.
- Mix.
- Grease bowl.
- Add dough to bowl, cover with towel.
- Set to rise (1 hour ish).
- Punch down.
- Roll (2) tight loaves.
- Place on greased and cornmeal pan.
- Let rise (1 hour ish).
- Set oven at 450 degrees.
- Bake 25 minutes.
- Brush with egg white/water mix.
- Bake 5 more minutes.
- Cool and enjoy!
