Aunty Rachel's 7 Up Cake Recipe
- 2 boxes Duncan Hines pudding cake mix plus ingredients to prepare cake as directed on box
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 cans (12-ounce) 7-up
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 boxes vanilla instant pudding plus ingredients to prepare pudding as directed on box Cold Whip
- Following baking directions on box, prepare cake and add in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Bake at 350 degrees.
- When cake is done and still warm, poke holes in cake with a fork.
- Pour 2 cans of 7-Up over the entire cake.
- Let stand for one hour or possibly more in its original baking pan.
- Frosting: Add in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to 2 boxes of vanilla instant pudding mix.
- Mix as directed on box and spread in an even layer on the cake.
- Just before serving, spread Cold Whip over the frosting.
- Cut and serve.
