Barbecued Short Ribs Recipe
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 lb beef short ribs
- 1 can tomato sauce - (8 ounce)
- 3/4 c. tomato juice
- 1 sm onion minced
- 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp grnd cloves
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- In a large soup pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
- Add in the ribs and brown for 5 to 7 min.
- Add in the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, cover and cook for 1 1/2 hrs, or possibly till the beef is fork-tender.
- Skim the fat from the sauce; serve the ribs with sauce spooned over them.
- This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
