Chinese Style Pepper Steak Recipe
- 2 lbs. boneless round steak
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 med.-size green peppers
- 1/2 c. onion, sliced long and thin
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- Brown beef (cut in strips).
- Add in onion and peppers.
- Cook awhile with beef.
- Add in seasonings and broth till boiling.
- Simmer 15 min with lid.
- Combine soy sauce, water, and cornstarch.
- Add in to beef and cook till thick.
- Serve over rice.
