Three Grains Bread Recipe

  1. Sift together 1 c. flour, all whole wheat flour, oats, wheat germ, corn meal, salt, and yeast.
  2. Combine warm water, butter, lowfat milk, and honey.
  3. Stir into flour mix.
  4. Beat 2 min on medium speed of electric mixer.
  5. Beat in Large eggs.
  6. Beat another 2 min on medium speed.
  7. Gradually stir in remaining flour till batter is stiff.
  8. Turn out on a lightly floured board; knead till smooth and elastic.
  9. Place dough in greased bowl.
  10. Cover and rise till double.
  11. Divide into 2 loaves and put in 2 loaf pans, greased.
  12. Cover and let rise till double in size.
  13. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
  14. Lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30-35 min.
  15. longer.
  16. or possibly till done.
  17. When done, remove from oven and pan.
