Three Grains Bread Recipe
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. all purpose flour
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. wheat germ
- 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (13 ounce.) can Pet evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 Large eggs
- Sift together 1 c. flour, all whole wheat flour, oats, wheat germ, corn meal, salt, and yeast.
- Combine warm water, butter, lowfat milk, and honey.
- Stir into flour mix.
- Beat 2 min on medium speed of electric mixer.
- Beat in Large eggs.
- Beat another 2 min on medium speed.
- Gradually stir in remaining flour till batter is stiff.
- Turn out on a lightly floured board; knead till smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in greased bowl.
- Cover and rise till double.
- Divide into 2 loaves and put in 2 loaf pans, greased.
- Cover and let rise till double in size.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
- Lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30-35 min.

- When done, remove from oven and pan.
