Lettuce and Avocado Salad
- 1 Ripe avocado
- 1/2 Lemon or lime
- 1/2 or 6 cherry tomatoes Tomato or cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove Crushed garlic
- 1/3 tsp Rock salt
- 1/2 tsp Dried red chili powder or flakes
- 1 dash White pepper
- 1 dash Lee & Perrin Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Olive oil
- 5 to 6 leaves Lettuce
- 1 dash Coriander leaves (optional)
- Crush the avocado with lemon juice on a cutting board to make a paste.
- Transfer to a bowl and add the crushed garlic, chili powder or flakes, salt, pepper and Worcestershire-style sauce.
- Add some very finely chopped tomato to the bowl, and chill in the refrigerator.
- Put some washed lettuce leaves on a plate and drizzle with olive oil.
- Spoon the chilled guacamole on top of the bed of lettuce, scatter with some fresh coriander leaves if you like, and serve.
- I changed to photo to one I made with cherry tomatoes.
- Lime is delicious and I recommend it.
