Beef Quesadilla Pie Recipe
- 1 lb lean grnd beef
- 1 c. salsa (I use garlic salsa)
- 1/4 c. sliced ripe olives, liquid removed
- 1 x (4.5 ounce.) can minced green chilies, liquid removed
- 1 x (15 ounce.) package refrigerated pie crusts
- 4 ounce cheddar cheese, grated (1 c.)
- Brown beef in a large skillet.
- Drain.
- Stir in salsa, olives and chilies.
- Place one pie crust on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Spoon hamburger mix proportionately onto crust to within 3/4" of the edge.
- Sprinkle cheese over beef.
- Moisten edge of crust with a little water.
- Put the other crust on top and seal the edges with a fork.
- Cut several slits in top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 17-27 min or possibly till crust is golden brown.
- Serve with optional toppings-any or possibly all!
