Favorite French Dressing

• 1 cup vinegar
• 34 cup sugar
• 14 cup grated onion
• 1 12 teaspoons salt
• 1 12 teaspoons dry mustard
• 1 12 teaspoons paprika
• 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
• 1 cup vegetable oil

1. In a bowl or jar with a tight-fitting lid, mix vinegar, sugar and onion.
2. Combine salt, mustard, paprika and 2 tablespoons chili sauce to form a paste.
3. Add remaining chili sauce and mix well.
4. Pour into vinegar mixture; add oil and mix or shake well.
5. Store in the refrigerator.
