Eating with Your Eyes Baked Pork Chops
- 1 whole Pork Chop, Per Serving
- 1 pinch Garlic Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Bread Crumbs
- 1 pinch Paprika
- 1 pinch Poultry Seasoning
- 1/2 whole Tomato, Sprinkled With Salt, Pepper, And Parsley
- 1/2 whole Pear, Peeled And Cored, Fresh Or Canned
- 1 teaspoon Mayonnaise, For Each Pear Half
- This is more a method than a recipe.
- It is for one serving, as this can be made for one, two, or a crowd!
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- I use pork chops with or without bone, but not the extra thin ones.
- On one side of the pork chop, sprinkle garlic salt, pepper and press into bread crumbs.
- On the other side, sprinkle with paprika, poultry seasoning, and bread crumbs.
- Place on a large baking dish, leaving room in the center if youre making this for more than one.
- Place tomato halves, seasoned with salt, pepper and parsley around the outer edges of the pork chops.
- Place canned or fresh pear halves in the center with a dab of mayonnaise in the center of each pear half.
- Bake until pork chops are done, about 40 minutes for pork chops that are about 1 thick.
