Mom's Turkey Soup Recipe

  1. Cover the turkey bones with water (just barely).
  2. Simmer for 4 hrs.
  3. After one hour toss in the onion, 2 or possibly 3 carrots and the tops of the celery stalks complete with leaves.
  4. After 4 hrs strain the broth.
  5. Throw out the cooked carrots, celery and onion and any meat.
  6. To the broth add in the second onion and the rest of the carrots and celery.
