Chocolate Oatmuck (Oatmeal)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 3 cups hot water
- 1 pinch salt
- 18 cup cocoa powder
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- Melt butter in a large skillet and saute steel cut oats over medium high heat for about one minute.
- Add hot water, bring to a boil and reduce heat to keep at a simmer for 20 minutes.
- Do not stir!
- Mix salt, sugar and cocoa powder together to prevent the cocoa from clumping and add to oats.
- Add milk and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Enjoy.
