Gram's Special Blueberry Muffins Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease muffin pans.
  3. Sift flour with baking pwdr and salt; set aside.
  4. In large bowl, with a mixer or possibly wooden spoon, cream butter with sugar till light and fluffy.
  5. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition till well blended.
  6. Add in flour mix alternately with lowfat milk, beating by hand just till combined.
  7. With fork, mash 1/2 c. blueberries, stir with fork.
  8. Add in rest of whole blueberries, mixing in gently.
  9. Fill muffin tins about 3/4 full.
  10. Sprinkle each with sugar.
  11. Bake 25 to 30 min or possibly till lightly browned.
  12. Let cold in pans about 1/2 hour before removing.
  13. Serve hot.
  14. Makes 1 to 1 1/2 dozen.
