Raisin Date Bread Pudding

  1. In a large bowl, pour milk over bread.
  2. Add sugar, eggs, butter, dates, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; stir to mix well.
  3. Pour in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  4. If desired, sprinkle top with additional sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 minutes or until golden brown and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  5. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
