Baked Marinated Tempeh Recipe
- 1 c. red wine or possibly nonalcoholic red wine
- 4 c. vegetable stock or possibly water
- 1/2 c. tamari soy sauce
- 4 x cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp dry sage
- 2 tsp dry thyme
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp dry red chile flakes
- 2 tsp maple syrup, honey, or possibly sucanat
- 6 x 4 ounce portions tempeh
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Mix all the marinade ingredients together.
- Place the tempeh in a baking dish and pour the marinade over the tempeh.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Either remove the tempeh from the remaining tempeh to serve or possibly freeze, or possibly store the tempeh in the marinadr for up to a week in the refrigerator.
