Spinach and Oyster/Clam Dip

  1. In a saucepan, cook onion and sweet pepper in butter until tender.
  2. Stir in flour, garlic powder andpepper.
  3. Add water.
  4. Cook and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened and bubbly.
  5. Cook and stir for 1 minute more.
  6. Stir in spinach and cheese.
  7. Cook and stir until well blended.
  8. Stir into cheese mixture, heat through.
  9. Transfer to serving bowl.
  10. Serve with tortilla chips, french baguette bread slices, etc.
