Spinach Salad(Tasty Combination - Delicious Dressing)
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- few drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 lb. fresh spinach
- 1/2 to 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced (optional)
- 6 to 10 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, diced
- In a 2 cup jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first 12 ingredients.
- Shake well; set aside.
- Wash spinach carefully, removing tough stems.
- Drain (no need to dry).
- In a large salad bowl, tear spinach into bite-size pieces.
- Add mushrooms and reserved dressing; mix gently to distribute dressing well. Arrange salad on 6 serving plates; garnish with crumbled bacon and top with egg slices.
- Yield:
- 6 servings.
