Dick's Beer Ribs Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, combine everything but ribs to create a marinade.
  2. In a kettle, cover spareribs with cool water.
  3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to just simmering.
  4. Simmer 35 to 40 min.
  5. Drain and rinse with cool water.
  6. Add in ribs to marinade and toss to coat.
  7. Marinate 4 hrs (or possibly longer) at room temperature or possibly overnight in the refrigerator, turning occasionally.
  8. Ribs may be cooked one of two ways:
  9. ONE: On grill about 6 or possibly 7 inches away from heat, basting frequently.
  10. Or possibly
  11. TWO: Arrange meaty side up in lightly oiled pan or possibly cookie sheet with sides in preheated 350 degree oven.
  12. Turn and baste every 15 min for one hour.
  13. Serve warm or possibly cool.
  14. They may be cooked ahead, covered and refrigerated, then reheated in 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 min.
