Bbq Pork Fillet Chinese Style Recipe
- 1 kg pork fillets
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. red wine
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp red food colouring
- 1 clv garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients for marinade in a bowl and mix well.
- Add in pork fillets and toss to coat well.
- Leave to marinate 30 min, turning occasionally.
- Put pork on a wire rack over a baking dish and brush with marinade.
- Roast in a moderate oven (350C) 25 min, turning and basting frequently with marinade.
- Remove from oven and slice diagonally.
- Serve with plum sauce.
- Can be cooked in the oven or possibly on the BBQ.
- Be careful not to overcook or possibly pork will become dry.
