Mother's Sticky Roasted Chicken Recipe
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1-3 pound chicken
- 1 c. minced onion
- In small bowl, thoroughly combine spices.
- Rub mix inside and out of chicken proportionately distributing spices down deep into skin.
- Place in sealed plastic bag overnight.
- When ready to roast chicken, stuff cavity with onion.
- Roast uncovered at 250 degrees for 5 hrs, basting occasionally.
