Autumn Spice Pound Cake W/ Pomegranate Glaze

  1. Preheat oven to Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour tube pan.
  3. Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
  4. Mix in eggs, pumpkin and juice.
  5. Blend in flour, soda, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  6. Stir in apples.
  7. Pour into prepared tube pan.
  8. Bake 65 to 70 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool for 15 minutes then remove from pan to cool completely.
  10. After about an hour when cake is cooled, mix glaze and drizzle over cake.
