Apple-Bottom Sour Cream Spice Cake
- 3 eggs
- 1 pkg. (2-layer size) spice cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 can (15.75 oz.) apple pie filling
- 1 container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 cup PLANTERS Pecans, toasted
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Beat eggs, cake mix, water and oil in large bowl with mixer on medium speed 2 min.
- Stir in pie filling.
- Pour into 13x9-inch baking pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 45 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 20 min.
- Mix sour cream, sugar and cinnamon.
- Poke deep holes in cake at 1-inch intervals, using handle of wooden spoon.
- Pour sour cream mixture over cake; sprinkle with pecans.
- Serve warm.
