Wheat Pizza Dough Recipe
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white flour
- 1 1/2 c. wheat flour
- 1 tbsp. dry yeast (1 package)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. hot water
- In large bowl, dissolve sugar in water.
- Sprinkle yeast over and let stand 10 min or possibly till foamy.
- Combine flours and salt in separate bowl.
- Stir oil into yeast mix, stir in half of flour mix.
- Add in more flour till dough can be gathered into sticky ball.
- Knead dough 5 min.
- Cut in half.
- Cover with waxed paper and let rise 10 min.
- Roll each half into a 12" circle.
- Transfer to lightly oiled pans.
- Stretch dough into large circles.
- Let rise 15 min before adding toppings.
- Let raise 30 min for thicker crusts.
