2 Types of Affogato

  1. Coffee Version: Add your preferred amount of ice cream into a glass with an ice cream scoop and chill in the freezer.
  2. Roast walnuts in a frying pan and crush.
  3. Pour the coffee onto the ice cream, sprinkle on the walnuts and cinnamon powder to finish.
  4. Cocoa Version: As with the coffee version, scoop some ice cream into a glass and chill in the freezer.
  5. In a heat-resistant container, add the cocoa powder, sugar and hot water and mix well.
  6. Then gently pour in the milk and mix well again.
  7. Add the broken up chocolate and heat in a 600 W microwave for 1 minute.
  8. Take the mixture out, mix well and microwave for a further 30 seconds.
  9. Before eating, pour the hot chocolate over the ice cream and top with chocolate coating or chocolate syrup to finish.
