2 Types of Affogato
- 2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
- 50 ml Strong brew of coffee (or espresso)
- 1/2 tsp + 50 ml Or instant coffee and hot water
- 2 Walnuts (or other nuts)
- 1 Cinnamon powder (optional)
- 1 Chocolate coating, chocolate syrup, etc.
- 2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 tsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 tsp Hot water
- 1/8 tsp Granulated sugar
- 50 ml Milk
- 7 1/2 grams Dark chocolate (or any chocolate)
- Coffee Version: Add your preferred amount of ice cream into a glass with an ice cream scoop and chill in the freezer.
- Roast walnuts in a frying pan and crush.
- Pour the coffee onto the ice cream, sprinkle on the walnuts and cinnamon powder to finish.
- Cocoa Version: As with the coffee version, scoop some ice cream into a glass and chill in the freezer.
- In a heat-resistant container, add the cocoa powder, sugar and hot water and mix well.
- Then gently pour in the milk and mix well again.
- Add the broken up chocolate and heat in a 600 W microwave for 1 minute.
- Take the mixture out, mix well and microwave for a further 30 seconds.
- Before eating, pour the hot chocolate over the ice cream and top with chocolate coating or chocolate syrup to finish.
