Norwegian Curried Lamb

  1. Coat meat with flour.
  2. Saute garlic and onion in a small amount of margarine .
  3. Heat more more margarine in a heavy skillet and brown meat on all sides.
  4. Transfer to large pot.
  5. Add sauteed onions and garlic to pot.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and curry powder.
  7. Add 1 cup hot water and bring to a boil.Add more water if necessary to cover meat.
  8. Cover, and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes.
  9. Check seasonings.
  10. It should be quite strong.
  11. Serve hot.
