buffalo chicken corndog Recipe brycetanner
- 8 pack of cooked chicken/apple sausages
- 1 bottle of KC Masterpiece Buffalo Marinade
- 1 box of cornbread mix such as Jiffy
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 2/3 cup flour
- Marinate your sausages with about half of the bottle of KC Masterpiece Buffalo for at least 30 minutes
- Preheat deep fryer to 375 degrees.
- Blend box of cornbread, buttermilk, flour, and blue cheese thoroughly.
- Pour into a drinking glass.
- Remove sausages, wipe off excess, and dip them in the cornbread mixture one at a time.
- Fry until done, about 4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on a paper towel.
- Roll the dogs in the remaining KC Masterpiece Buffalo sauce just before serving.
- Allow people to drizzle blue cheese or ranch over their dog and enjoy!
