Scalloped Ham, Potatoes, And Cheese Recipe
- 3/4 pound thinly sliced cooked ham; or possibly 1 can luncheon meat, thinly sliced
- 1 chopped small onion
- 4 to 6 thinly sliced, pared raw potatoes
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 c. grated process sharp American cheese (1/4 lb.)
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. catsup
- Start heating oven to 350 degrees.
- In greased 1 1/2 or possibly 2 qt casserole, arrange ham.
- Top with onion.
- Then top with half of potatoes; sprinkle with half of flour, salt, pepper, cheese, repeat.
- Meanwhile, heat lowfat milk with butter; pour over all.
- Bake, covered 40 min.
- Uncover, dot with catsup.
- Bake 30 min or possibly till potatoes are tender.
- (It curdles a little, but tastes so good!)
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
