Mashed Snakes (Halloween)
- 1 13 cups Betty Crocker potato buds (dry)
- 1 13 cups water
- 13 cup skim milk
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 10 drops green food coloring
- 6 drops yellow food coloring
- 2 small pimento stuffed olives, each cut into 4 slices
- 4 slices pimiento (from 4 pimiento-stuffed olives)
- Make mashed potatoes as directed on package, using water, milk, butter and salt.
- Stir in food colors until color is well blended.
- Cool 5 minutes.
- Place mashed potatoes in gallon-size ziploc bag.
- Cut about 1-inch hole in 1 corner of bag.
- Pipe 8 snakes (about 1/4 cup each) onto serving plates.
- Cut each olive slice in half; place 2 halves on one end of snake for eyes.
- Cut each pimiento slice in half; place 2 pieces on end for snake tongue.
- Serve immediately.
