Basil Pork Chops Recipe
- 4 x boneless pork leg or possibly shoulder butt steaks
- 2/3 c. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 c. chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 c. honey
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 x chopped clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp dry oregano
- 1/2 tsp crumbled dry rosemary
- 1/2 tsp mint sauce
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce salt and pepper to taste
- Place pork in a plastic bag or possibly sealable container.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over pork.
- Seal and marinate 15 min or possibly chill as long as overnight, turning steaks occasionally.
- Preheat the barbecue to high temperature and place pork on the grill.
- Turn heat down to a low setting and barbecue or possibly broil on a greased broiler pan 4 to 5 min per side to medium doneness basting frequently with marinade.
