Chumous

  1. Soak Chickpeas overnight.
  2. Cook soaked chickpeas at low boil for 1 1/2 hours or until desired softness is reached.
  3. Drain.
  4. In blender thoroughly blend the Garlic with Parsley, Olive Oil and Lemon juice.
  5. Add in the Chickpeas, Tehina, and Seasonings.
  6. Add water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  7. Remember that the oil, salt, pepper, lemon and garlic can be adjusted for personal preference.
