- 1 1/2 lb stew beef
- 3 stalks of celery chopped
- 1/2 cup peppers cut
- 1 packet of beef stew seasoning mix
- 12 oz petite carrots
- 4 red potatoes cubed (skin on)
- 1/2 white onion chopped
- 1 beef bouillon cube dissolved in one cup of water
- 2 cup water
- 1 can of corn
- 12 oz jar beef gravy
- Add celery, potatoes, carrots, peppers, and onion to crock pot
- Brown meat.
- Season to taste.
- (We used 2 tablespoons of Dale's seasoning and a tablespoon of garlic powder and black pepper) just enough to brown outside and the middle still be red.
- Drain.
- Set aside.
- Mix packet of seasoning mix with 2 cups of water.
- Pour over vegetables
- Add meat to crock pot and pour beef broth over
- Cook on low for 5 and 1/2 hours stirring occasionally, then add the canned corn
- Around the 8th hour of being in the crock pot add the gravy.
- We let it cook for another hour, but that isn't necessary.
