Crock Pot Beef Stew

  1. Add celery, potatoes, carrots, peppers, and onion to crock pot
  2. Brown meat.
  3. Season to taste.
  4. (We used 2 tablespoons of Dale's seasoning and a tablespoon of garlic powder and black pepper) just enough to brown outside and the middle still be red.
  5. Drain.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Mix packet of seasoning mix with 2 cups of water.
  8. Pour over vegetables
  9. Add meat to crock pot and pour beef broth over
  10. Cook on low for 5 and 1/2 hours stirring occasionally, then add the canned corn
  11. Around the 8th hour of being in the crock pot add the gravy.
  12. We let it cook for another hour, but that isn't necessary.
