Chinese Sesame Cookies Recipe
- 7 c. flour, sifted
- 4 c. solid shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 tbsp. instant lowfat milk
- 3 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tbsp. water
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 teaspoon almond flavoring
- Mix everything together with hands.
- Roll dough in 1" balls.
- Flatten slightly and roll in sesame seeds.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 2" apart for 20 to 25 min at 350 degrees.
